Brent's Pictures
Brent's pictures are finally up. They can be seen on Nellie Photography's website under the proofing section at http://www.nellie-photography.com/. The new password is: nick. Today is our official first day without Nick. Nick headed back (the second attempt) for Iraq yesterday. His first scheduled flight out last week was definitely rough....we drove 2 hours to the airport, said goodbye, and Brent and I went out to the 100 degree St. Louis parking garage to drive back only to find a completely dead car. So after waiting 2 hours in the heat with a 2 week old for AAA to come and getting back to Springfield about 10:00pm we then found out Nick was stuck in Chicago, his flight was cancelled and was not going to make the weekly flight out overseas. So the next day, he took a bus back half way and we picked him up and had one more week together. So yesterday we did it all again and things went a lot smoother besides Nick not having anymore time at home. But we can not complain because we were extremely lucky and blessed to have the opportunity for Nick to be home and would not change anything. October should come quickly.

Brent Nicholas Miller 7/2/07
He is finally here....Brent Nicholas Miller, born 7/2/07 at 12:20pm. He was born a couple of weeks early but his dad was here just in time for the excitement. He weighed 6 pounds 3 ounces and 20.5 inches long. Nick made it home flying standby on June 30th, my water broke on July 1st, and Brent was born July 2nd so a lot has happened in the matter of days. We are all home now and adjusting to the last couple crazy weeks but everyone is doing good. The timing could not have been more perfect to get all 3 of us together FINALLY! Thanks for all your prayers and support!
