Mr. Photogenic
Brent is finally getting the point of a camera...look and smile. I think these are the first pictures in his year and half life I have of him looking at the camera and smiling.

My little boy
A couple of weeks ago we had a friend of ours take some pictures for our Christmas cards and Brent is hands down the hardest child to take a good picture of. I shouldn't even try anymore...from here on out he is getting his picture taken once a year:) Here is an out-take....the usually Brent crying, Nick laughing at him, me just wanting one good picture.

Still unpacking:)
Brent had his 15 months appointment today and weighed in at 27 pounds 1 ounce (75th percentile) and 33 3/4 inches long (95th percentile). And he managed to get a huge bruise and bump on his forehead from opening up the door and trying to escape while I was talking to the doctor as well as pull out one of their child protection safety plugs from the electrical outlet. The doctor was amazed he could do that, I was not:)

Bruiser
Still crazy with getting unpacked and settled from the move....brent is liking the new hardwood floors and the floors are liking him. Everyday he has a new bruise or black eye from slipping poor guy. This one actually is one he woke up with from a nap somehow...only Brent.

Brent Miller vs. Pumpkin Patch
"Must conquer all pumpkins"
Sort of a smile?? At the wagon handle??
Such hard work
But no match for Brent Miller
I think this picture is funny cause he just hit his head on the handle trying to stand up for the 50th time
I think this picture is funny cause he just hit his head on the handle trying to stand up for the 50th time
51st time
These were no match so he just started throwing them out of the baskets
Bored by now...trying to eat them
Note dirt on mouth
I think it is funny how you can really tell a kids personality by how they react to a new situation...some are real laid back, happy-go-lucky...some are real shy and reserved...and then you have some that are just real serious. Brent falls under the real serious category. I took him to a pumpkin patch this weekend and there were no smiles, no squeals, it was just purely Brent vs. the pumpkin patch and he was there to conquer. He saw every pumpkin as a challenge of whether he could lift it up or not and the wagon was just pure danger...of course he wanted to stand up the whole time in the wagon. We had fun but unfortunately I have no really cute pictures of Brent standing by a pumpkin giggling and smiling...he definitely had his game face on.
